Halal Certification

Halal Product Certification

It is extremely important that food is presented to people with halal sensitivity in reliable opportunities in the chain of production, packaging, transportation, storage and presentation.
It is aimed to remove the technical barriers to trade between countries by certification process that will be done by the institutions of the countries that will make Halal Certification based on the Halal Food Guide created by TS OIC SMIIC 1:2019.

Halal certification stands out for the Muslim consumer in the production of acceptable food and consumable products. This issue covers 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. As it is known, Kosher certificate is mandatory in the export of foodstuffs to many countries of the world.
However, it may be difficult to find products that are suitable for beliefs in countries where Muslims are minorities. In order to solve this problem, as a result of audits, inspections and examinations, a worldwide HALAL Certificate was issued. HALAL Certificate is sought in imported food products, especially in Germany, the USA, France, Australia and countries with a high Muslim population.

Halal Certificate standards have been published under different names in Muslim countries. For Halal Certificate standards, a common language has not yet been created as there is no standard published by the ISO International Standards Organization.
“TS OIC SMIIC 1:2019 Halal Food General Guide” standard is used in Halal Food Certification studies.

Halal Product Certification
The food and chemical industry, which has grown with the support of rapidly developing technology, has provided convenience and diversity in meeting consumer needs, but also brought different questions and problems. One of them is whether the halal product in accordance with Islamic provisions is consumed by the Islamic world.
In addition to cleaning and reliability, it is very important for Halal product to manufacture with content, raw material, activity and process in accordance with Islamic provisions in all stages from raw material entry to final product consumption. In this context, it is very important to use products that are not prohibited by Islam.
